This is not to attack either candidate but a reasonable logical view of Mr. Romney and those who never felt the pain, trials and tribulations the middle and lower class have had to endure. Its just not possible in any way for Mr. Romney to understand the middle and lower classes that have built this country. In order to understand us one would have had to endure what we have in our lifetimes. One cannot truly feel our concerns or what we have gone through if one has not only never been there but grew up where no one in their lives has. Its just not possible and I don't blame Mr. Romney since he was raised into this life knowing no other. Truth be told as much as he likes to make us believe he knows of our endeavors, he cant. Mr. Romney don't insult the intelligence of Americans by trying to convince us other wise. Be yourself for if not true to yourself you can never be true to us. You and yours have never suffered or struggled as we have so please don't say that you can relate or feel our pains and worries. Its just not possible.

Middle East HATES America
By now we are sure all Americans and the world are aware of the most recent attacks and murders of Americans at the Embassy in the Middle East. When the hell is American Government going to finally admit that we are hated and do something about it. Notice I say "American Government" not "American People" because I believe "We The People" are very aware of the hate these countries have for us. Yet we still send them millions, more like billions, of our tax monies and other aid. Are we stupid? To them we are, believe me. If you were to take a poll on if the American People want any of our money sent to the Middle East I am pretty sure a big "NO" would be the answer. Why do you think our Government wont ask or allow us to vote on it?
We should be ENRAGED!!!! I don't see any protests. Where is the show of anger! Americans have been MURDERED on American turf at the Embassy. Expressing your anger in the comfort of your home will not get any attention my fellow Americans. At very least send E-mail to the White House and your States Governors Office. Call your local News Papers and express you anger! Rally your Clubs, Groups, Associations and Unions.
What we needs to do, and its simple. Connect with the Canadian Oil Pipe Line and have a open season on drilling for oil within our own countries boundaries. WE have more energy resources in America then the entire world yet because of environmental groups, who would rather save a rodent then save Americans, we don't take advantage of these God given resources. BUT I believe there is a underlying motive to restricting our progress to oil freedom and I want you to give this just a bit of thought. If WE were independent of the need for Middle East Oil we would destroy their economic empires! Now think about this. Obama stopped the Canadian pipe line right at the border just as it was about to connect to America then the prices of gas started to rise again. Why? Simple the threat to Middle East oil has been eliminated when Obama stopped the connection. Is Obama protecting the Middle East for some reason allowing the continuation of their hold on America with oil? Hmmmm aren't they Muslim? Just food for thought.
The hold for oil is what the American Government fears NOT these countries armies. Call it as it is, we could take them off the map without sending a man over there if we wanted to. Its is because of this "Hold" ,that the Middle east is well aware of, that makes them so sure that we wont strike back. Yea well let the drilling begin and the pipe line through. Order home all Americans out there and then lets see what happens then. A 50- something year old white woman arrived at her seat on a crowded flight and immediately didn't want the seat. The seat was next to a black man. Disgusted, the woman immediately summoned the flight attendant and demanded a new seat. The woman said "I cannot sit here next to this black man." The fight attendant said "Let me see if I can find another seat." After checking, the flight attendant returned and stated "Ma'am, there are no more seats in economy, but I will check with the captain and see if there is something in first class." About 10 minutes went by and the flight attendant returned and stated "The captain has confirmed that there are no more seats in economy, but there is one in first class. It is our company policy to never move a person from economy to first class, but being that it would be some sort of scandal to force a person to sit next to an UNPLEASANT person, the captain agreed to make the switch to first class." Before the woman could say anything, the attendant gestured to the black man and said, "Therefore sir, if you would so kindly retrieve your personal items, we would like to move you to the comfort of first class as the captain doesn't want you to sit next to an unpleasant person." Passengers in the seats nearby began to applause while some gave a standing ovation.

Our Generation
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE 50's, 60's and 70's! First, we survived being born to mothers Who smoked and/or drank while they were Pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, Tuna from a can and didn't get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-base paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, Locks on doors or cabinets and when we rode Our bikes, we had baseball caps not helmets on our heads. As infants & children, We would ride in cars with no car seats, No booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes. Riding in the back of a pick-up truck on a warm day Was always a special treat. We drank water From the garden hose and not from... a bottle. We shared one soft drink with four friends, From one bottle and no one actually died from this. We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter and bacon.. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar. And, we weren't overweight. WHY? Because we were Always outside playing...that's why! We would leave home in the morning and play all day, As long as we were back when the Streetlights came on. No one was able To reach us all day. And, we were O.K.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps And then ride them down the hill, only to find out We forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's and X-boxes. There were no video games, no 150 channels on cable, No video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, No cell phones, No personal computers, no Internet and no chat rooms. WE HAD FRIENDS And we went outside and found them! We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth And there were no lawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, And the worms did not live in us Forever. We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, Made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, Although we were told it would happen, We did not put out very many eyes. We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and Knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just Walked in and talked to them. Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal With disappointment. Imagine that!! The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law Was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! These generations have produced some of the best Risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever. The past 50 years Have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all. If YOU are one of them? CONGRATULATIONS!

Madonnas Super Bowl Halftime Show
The Lady scores a winning touch down as far as we are concerned. Madonna did a wonderful halftime performance last night at the Super Bowl before audiences of all ages AND more important the show was age appropriate for ALL ages. No wardrobe malfunctions, no garbled words, no foul language, no questionable lyrics. No suggestive body language. The choreography was splendid the music well arranged and the costumes outstanding without a hint of sexual innuendo's. Our Jersey crew, and I mean a REAL Jersey crew ,all agree she proved without a doubt she is a true talent able to perform without the need of "the sleazy or shock" factor. Thank you Madonna for a show well done that everyone was able to enjoy. Your a Star Lady!

Primary Election Time.....A view from Abroad
You know the world is watching our primary elections. Make no mistake they are very interested and they are seeing all we mentioned in our previous post. They see the inability of our leaders to agree on pretty much anything. They see the division of parties. They see the slander thrown back and forth like missiles on attack. They see the angry American and how our countries leaders have hidden facts from us on issues that had a great effect on our economy. I hate to say this America but sometimes you have to step out of your own comfort zone in order to see things as others do, be it right or wrong, from another perspective so to speak. So what I want you to do is see whats going on here from another countries point be them friends or foe. You can be sure of one thing, our enemies are pleased and our friends are concerned. The more turmoil we have the more our enemies are pleased and I tell ya now these primaries show a complete lack of unity within our government. What does this mean? A total inability to make important perhaps life and liberty saving decisions that can cost Americans dearly on all fronts. How ironic a government that preaches peace, unity, brotherhood etc etc cant within its own borders of government. We have Americans out of work, families torn apart, crime is at a high level because many are forced into crime to feed their family. Our American Government has lost credibility not only to good Americans but to many foreign countries by not taking care of their own. To "Lead By Example" can no longer apply to our Government bodies. This countries current condition speaks volumes to the world. "They cant take care of their own" is a phrase the world is now using to describe our politicians. Now if we as Americans are not taken care of how in the name of God do you expect to have credibility anywhere. So our government, who cant fix our problems, is going to fix another countries? This is this best country in the world. Its not the people who are bad, its the politicians!

Elections 2012 VIew from a Distance
As I sit here watching the primaries I find my a bit, OK a whole lot, disgusted by the process and what these primaries have turned into. Slander, verbal attacks, mud slinging, character attacks, secrets exposed etc etc. It becomes obvious that everything we are hearing today didn't just happen today and these harsh shocking acts being used against each other were being hidden for a long time by the same parties who are now using them against each other. In my world that ratting on each other so no wonder even politicians don't trust each other. I am not saying the public should not be made aware, what I am saying is why were these issues not exposed when they happened when perhaps something could have been done about them. A true Politician of the People would expose a situation at the time of its occurrence and move to address it. So what dos this tell us? We have no real Politicians of the People. All of them held silent of any unjust acts of other politicians until such a time they would use them against each other for personal gain. Did they use them to protect the public....a big no. Think about it. When you live in a glass house you really cant throw stones now can you. When you hide issues that effect Americas best interest and allow those who committed these acts to continue in this manner by "turning a temporary nose until you need to use it" you my politician are guilty and are just as guilty as your political rival. There should be no secrets kept from Americans and we are watching.

Florida Insurance.....Your Screwed!
What you need to know before you retire to Florida
First off please understand that what we inform you of here is FACT about problems you may encounter if you have plans to move, retire, to the State of Florida. Issues even your realtor is reluctant to tell you but if your aware and ask the realtor they must tell you by law. This is for most, and in some cases, the deciding factor on affordability that you do not what to find out while in the buying process since in will come about after you sign a contract.
We are doing this article because so many in their golden years are finding they cannot, or can no longer, afford to live here in Florida due to ever rising Insurance and Taxes. Some still think that Florida is a value like it was YEARS ago. No More! Matter of fact Floridas Home Owners Insurance rates may be the highest in the country.
Florida is considered a risk State due to hurricanes and flood. Both of which have not been seen in about 11 years and if you notice variations in weather patterns have shifted where other states, that pay much lower rates, have had all the problem nature has to offer. Yet Florida is punished, maybe because State Government allows constant raises without cause. In other words "In 11 years we had no claims". Politics, maybe. Im not going to get into politics...yet.
Lets get to the point:
Always keep this in mind if your retiring, a sad but true FACT. A retired couple up in age must realize that yes you and yours each receive you Social Security checks BUT a good portion will be lost when life ends for one of you. So you cannot depend on two checks to pay your bills. If you did you will be moving soon due to the loss of income.
Lets create a actual situation:
If you moved to Florida now and purchased a 100.000.00 home your taxes would be about 3000.00 per year, your Home Owners Insurance about 4500.00 per year and Fema Flood Insurance about 500.00 per year. So far your down 8000.00 per year or about 666.00 per month. And this is on only a 100.000.00 home which is not much of a home these days in Florida. And dont forget you have auto insurance, utilities, food, maybe association fees etc etc. These figures are based upon a no mortage purchase but even if you have a mortage payment that payment would be LOWER then your insurance rates. See its not mortgage rates that make Florida expensive, its INSURANCE THEN TAXES that force even Floridas retired to leave the state. And rest assured every year these rates rise but your income does not. Combined a retired couple in the example above would pay somewhere between 1100.00 and 1300.00 per month. Thats without a mortage and no other loans.
The Insurance Scam:
Very few homes built from the 70s on ever are totaled due to construction. What you read about are the older wood frames and mobile homes in most cases where total destruction is involved. This is what the insurance companies dont say when they cry about their losses making you believe you can sustain the same damages. The Fear Factor!
I live in a area that took a direct overhead 150 mph hurricane hit. I lost several roof tiles BUT NOT THE ROOF. Trees and shrubs of course. A wood fence went down next door.Rain but nothing came in the home. What am I getting at? The INSURANCE DEDUCTABLES which range from 4500.00 to 8000.00. This means you pay these figures, out of pocket, before insurance kicks in reducing the insuance companies liability where in many cases the insurance company end up with no out lay at all! Example a very nice high grade wooden fence on the property we speak of is under the deductable and a roof on a 100.000.00 home, which is a small home, is about 8000.00. So the insurance company has no outlay at all BUT you have out of pocket costs. In essence if you pay insurance of 4500.00 per year and you pay a high deductable..what did the insurer pay..nada. In most cases you end up paying out of pocket more then the insurance company did. Now heres the kicker when the insurers shows proof of their losses to get a rate raise before the state they show your 4500.00 claim, what they dont say is "but it didnt cost us a dime due to the deductable the home owner had to pay first".
We all know that the Insurance Industry has been allowed to rob the public for years.Its big business and politics, we all know it. Our best protection in knowledge and we want our seniors to know what they are facing so they can retire to a comfortable and affordable life. Florida was once a great affordable place to retire but it is not any longer for everyone.
And believe me you dont want to know about Florida Goverment and Politics. When did a election ever go smooth?
